1. Acceptance

By using Resume Lab (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Resume Lab is a free, browser-based resume and CV builder. You can choose a template, enter your information, preview a resume, and export a PDF using your browser’s print dialog. The Service does not require an account.

3. Your content

You are solely responsible for the text and information you enter into the builder. Drafts are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. We do not claim ownership of your resume content.

You confirm that you have the right to use any information you enter, and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge when you use it for job applications or other purposes.

4. No professional advice

Templates and sample text are provided for convenience only. Resume Lab does not guarantee interviews, job offers, ATS compatibility with every employer system, or any hiring outcome.

5. Availability and changes

The Service is provided free of charge and “as is.” Features may change, and the Service may be interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. We are not liable for lost drafts—export a PDF if you need a lasting copy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempts to:

  • Disrupt or overload the hosting infrastructure
  • Scrape or automate abuse of the site
  • Use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

7. Intellectual property

The Resume Lab name, site design, and templates (excluding your personal content) remain the property of the site maintainer. You may use exported resumes for your personal or professional job search.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resume Lab and its maintainer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including issues with PDF export, browser compatibility, or employer screening tools.
